I am excited to announce the Restoring Joy to Leadership’s Inaugural Mini-Grant Funding of $5,000.00 to implement a project designed to enhance joy in the work place for nurse managers and or senior staff nurses is awarded to Jeanne Bradburn, RN, BSN, CAPA. Ms. Bradburn is the Nurse Manager, Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville Adult Outpatient Center and Eye Institute.
Brief Description of Project:
Compassion Fatigue Mindfulness Workshops and Caring Intervention Workshops will be provided for 50 nurse managers and 50 senior direct care nurses at Baptist Health. The project objectives will be measured by an increase in recognition of signs and symptoms of Compassion Fatigue, increased use of self care interventions by the participants, increased scores in employee engagement and improved outcomes measured by selected quality patient outcomes. Pre- and post-workshop measures will be collected using Stamm’s Professional Quality of Life Scale ( ProQOL5) instrument to measure the effectiveness of the interventions.
Please join me in congratulating Ms. Bradburn!
